Qurban Africa has focused in areas such as healthcare provision, sanitation, education and nutrition to include the poor in participating to the economic growth of the country. Studies conducted reveal that a 10 percent increase in a country’s average income reduces poverty by as much as 20-30 percent.
This removes barriers to equal access to resources and services provided by the national government.

Empowerment programs
We aim at promoting good governance by empowering people living in poverty through involving them in the decision making process, development and implementation of plans and programs to reduce and eradicate poverty. Their involvement ensures that programs are effectively implemented and are a reflection of things important to them.

Management of resources
We educate them on efficiently use water and other natural resources to avoid wastage. Most of the rural population depend on agriculture for their livelihood.
We also train them to use modern farming equipment and techniques. Furthermore, it is necessary that they have more equal access to the resources so that they are better able to manage their resources.
