Economic empowerment is a process of developing a sense of  self-confidence, and acting uniformly to change current social relationships and the institutions that exclude poor people from opportunities and keep them in poverty. People are empowered to hold others to account based on their individual accumulated assets i.e , housing, land, investments.

We represent economic empowerment on people’s collective assets and capabilities, such as voice, organizational structure, and  their identity.
